August 1, 2011 - Car & Boat into
the Lake - A driver
inadvertently backed the trailer
carrying his fishing boat and
his SUV into Greenwood Lake on
Tuesday. It took the Greenwood
Lake Police, Fire Department and
EMS several hours to unhitch the
boat from the submerged trailer
and then recover the vehicle. No
one was hurt. |

TRAINING - Waterborne
Rescue/Firefighting Apparatus (M-622)
June 14, 2011 - Members of
the GLFD refreshed their skills
and knowledge on our
Waterborne
Rescue/Firefighting Apparatus (M-622).
The
lifesaving piece of apparatus is
capable of transporting
patients, waterborne rescues,
water supply and of course
firefighting.
